CASEY’S
“SUMMER OF FREEDOM”
We faced a host of significant challenges on this project, from impending thunderstorms and potential flooding to transporting a specialty pizza oven from Iowa to Austin. It felt like every conceivable obstacle was thrown our way!
One major challenge was our need for a crane to capture the extensive range of shots within a single day. Thanks to Director Parker Seaman’s knack for elevating creative, it was clear that the crane was crucial for making everything truly shine. Unfortunately, the only crane in Austin was already booked for our shoot day.
To navigate this challenge, I collaborated with the client to shift the shoot by one day, turning a potential setback into an opportunity for success. This adjustment allowed us to secure the crane and avoid the worst of the weather, ultimately enabling us to capture even more high-quality footage. The client was thrilled with the final product, which not only exceeded their expectations but also provided ample content for a comprehensive social media campaign.
